Born in Belfast, the author’s hometown has built a lovely park in honor of his beloved Chronicles of Narnia – The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. Within the the park are bronze sculptures created by several Irish artists. All the characters readers love; The Beavers, the Robin, The White Witch, and Aslan’s Stone Table can be found in the park.
Plus, there is one of the author himself as he opens the Wardrobe door. It’s a beautiful tribute to a timeless classic.
The CS Lewis Square opened in 2016, and has received international praise.
