My professional training is in Economics and I have been engaged in the Economic Development Industry for over 20 years.  I have spent the past 7 years as a professional Site Location Consultant specifically in the Destination Tourism Attraction Industry working on location analysis for theme parks, resorts, new lifestyle centers, water parks, recreational centers and major conceptual entertainment venues.   I have done opinions all across North America and Internationally as far away as Australia.

I have served on the International Economic Development Council board of Directors, 2004-2012 and I served on the Mid America Economic Development Council board of Directors from 1994-1998 and finished as Chairman.  I currently serve on the CDC Small Business board of Directors from 2007-Present.

I am one of the most sought after keynote speakers in the Economic Development Industry and have spoke internationally numerous times.  I have over 200 paid speaking engagements to date as a professional speaker.  I have appeared on national Fox News, CBS, and numerous local television shows.  I have published articles and been quoted in USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, New York Post, FDI Magazine, Business Facilities Magazine, and the Economic Development Journal of the EDA and IEDC publications (2) articles.
