Literary Characters as Police Sketches

from The Composites Blog
Count Dracula

For a funny break from the usual news in publishing, a website has been launched by artist Brian Joseph Davis called The Composites. Davis posts police like sketches of the world’s most notable literary characters. Utilizing software that is used by law enforcement the sketches take the descriptions from a novel and give you an image of that character.

It’s pretty fun the scroll through the images. Most are fairly close to what readers might imagine. This writer however, was quite taken aback by Count Dracula and Professor Moriarty. Those two are nothing like my reader’s imagination envisioned.
